The Oak Ridge Chamber is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Oak Ridge Christmas Parade!

This year's parade is proudly presented by Oklo Inc., a valued community partner helping support the traditions and celebrations that bring Oak Ridge together. 

2026 Theme: All American Christmas

In honor of America's 250th Anniversary, this year's theme celebrates our nation's journey while recognizing the people, places, and innovations that continue to shape our future. Participants are encouraged to incorporate the theme into their entries while embracing the joy and spirit of the Christmas season.

Parade contest categories will return, and we look forward to seeing the creativity, holiday cheer, and hometown pride that make this event a community favorite year after year. 

Contest Categories (Optional Participation): 

1. Spectacular Sparkles Award: Given to any entry that presents an outstanding display of lights and/or other type of illumination.
2. Elfin Magic Award: Given to the outstanding entry featuring children as the main part of the entry.
3. Spirit Award: Given to the entry that has the most enthusiasm during the parade.
4. Director’s Award: Given to the best walking/marching group.
5. Chamber Award: Given to the overall outstanding entry presenting and illustrating the parade theme: All American Christmas
6. Judge’s Award: Given to the entry that has the best overall originality, creativity, appearance, and uniqueness of decorations.

Parade Route: The parade will begin at the intersection of Lafayette Drive and Oak Ridge Turnpike and travel east toward the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce. 

While December may seem far away, parade participation continues to grow each year, and early registration is encouraged.
