DESCRIPTION:Join us for our next quarterly Nonprofit Roundtable featuring Tony Murchison\, East Tennessee Regional Director for the Tennessee Nonprofit Network. Tony will introduce attendees to the many resources\, professional development opportunities\, and technical assistance available to nonprofit organizations across our region. With more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership\, higher education\, and community partnerships\, Tony works with organizations from Bristol to Chattanooga to strengthen capacity through training\, collaboration\, and networking opportunities.Catered lunch will be provided by Mary Lou's\, a food truck fundraising on behalf of Free Medical Clinic. Tony is a member of Association of Nonprofit Professionals and holds his CNP: Certified Nonprofit Professional certificate. Prior to his role with TNN\, Tony served as the Director of Community Partnerships at the UTK College of Social Work. Through this role\, he worked to develop relationships with key partners across the state and beyond\, coordinated the Social Justice Innovation Initiative grant project\, and supervised the college's Continuing Education efforts including the annual eVOLve Conference. Tony serves on the boards for Magnolia Harbor Carefarm and the Maryville College Alumni Association. Tony is happily married to his husband of 23 years\, Jim Clement. They share 3 cats and 10 nieces and nephews. In his spare time\, Tony likes to travel\, read\, write books (none published yet)\, hang out with friends\, eat\, and do craft projects.
